Samantha Perkins is a lifelong member of Everett Soccer Club and has been part of the program as both a player and coach. A player since 2007, she developed through Everett Soccer Club and later took on coaching responsibilities with the Junior Academy age group, where she has worked since 2015. She was appointed Director of Junior Academy in 2021 and now serves as Club President.
Sam remains actively involved on the field throughout the week, coaching multiple groups and helping support the day-to-day growth of the club. Her focus is on creating a positive experience for players of all skill levels and helping young athletes build confidence, enjoyment, and a sense of connection through the game.
John Perkins has been involved with Everett Soccer Club since 2007 and has coached players across every age group from Under-8 through Under-19. Over the years, he has served in several leadership roles, including Intramural Director, Field Coordinator, Travel Coordinator, and Club President. He currently serves as Vice President and Field Coordinator.
John is one of the club’s most committed volunteers, dedicating significant time to field setup, operations, and the maintenance of a safe and welcoming environment for players and families. He also coaches in the in-town program and remains a constant presence on the sidelines, supporting Everett Soccer Club.
Anthony (Tony) Mithiga Owuor has been part of the soccer community in Everett for more than twenty years as a player, coach, and mentor. During that time, he helped lead Everett to the Greater Boston League Championship as a player in 2003 and 2004 and later as a coach in 2008.
As Director of Coaching, Tony works across the club to support coaching standards, strengthen player development, and promote consistency in the training environment. He is regularly present at practices and matches, helping build a club culture rooted in discipline, accountability, development, and community.
Yariel Santos brings both playing and coaching experience to Everett Soccer Club, with two years of coaching 9th and 10th grade boys teams. A former varsity soccer standout, Yariel played during his junior and senior years and served as team captain in his final season. In 2023, he helped lead his team to a Greater Boston League (GBL) Championship, demonstrating the leadership and competitive spirit he now instills in his players. He also competed at the club level with New England Futbol Club (NEFC), further strengthening his understanding of player development and the game.
Currently pursuing a degree in Business at Bunker Hill Community College, Yariel is committed to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy emphasizes leadership, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, creating a positive environment where players can build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential.
